That is a sad story Shawna. Dogs do become a very special part of our families, don't they?? We had a dog named Nacho and we're pretty sure he had some Ridgeback in him. He was also a great protector and we loved him to pieces! We had to put him down because he couldn't walk...

There is myself, my DH and our 3-yo DD. We also have our dogs, Sabrina (Rhodesian Ridgeback) and Rosco (Border collie mix), Wilbur, the hamster, about 15 chicken and 15 horses, although the chickens and horses don't technically occupy our house!! ;) Oh, and we have our share of dust bunnies...

If it were me, I would keep it in the bathroom. I'm sure it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. Maybe it's just because there's enough stuff in the living room, I wouldn't want to add to it. And the toilet paper thing....mine did that too and it didn't last, so hopefully, you'll be...

If you get a potty (or a small seat that goes on the regular toilet - much nicer...nothing to clean up!) and just show it to her, she will eventually show interest and want to go herself. They somehow start to get interested on their own, and before you know it, it just happens! What we did...

I totally agree that they need to go in their own time, but it would be nice to be able to coax them a little bit! Thanks for all your tips. I'll just let it run it's course and keep encouraging her. She'll get there eventually! :)

My limit is $20, but I have my PC purse that I won't be parting with anytime soon. Now, I need to get a bag with the clear pocket on the outside for a catalog, if I can track one down!!!
