I have the UM, not the the SS, and have used it MANY times with my chipmaker. It does take a bit longer, but I don't think it is just the UM cutting thicker slices than the SS- some days it takes 6-7 minutes, other days the exact same bag of potatoes can take 10-12... the humidity on the day...
Of those who mentioned you have lap boards you no longer use- are there any who have NOT had them spoken for yet? I'd love 12-15 or so myself! If you still have any available, I'd love to hear from you! Thanks so much!
