I try to always meet in person with the hosts - it shows them your genuine interest in helping them have a great show! I work full time and have two small kids and still am able to find time to work these in, I make it a priority. I typically will meet them at a local cafe for a quick lunch...

I try to personalize it to the host and her friends as much as possible - so if I ask the host what the group is into and go from there. You could do Senioritas and Margaritas featuring the fajitas in the DCB, a grown up Bites and Bevs with a couple of quick appetizers and wine or martinis...

I love these suggestions, especially the average show bit! I'm still waiting for my first $1000 show, so maybe that will help me get there!
