As consultants we agree to PC's terms. That is different then purchasing a car or other items. I don't know if they still do it but many auto makers used to give their employees a deep discount and they had restrictions on that too. As a nurse working for an agency I could not join the staff of a place they placed me within 6 months of working there for the agency. Most companies have clauses to protect themselves.
