DebbieJ said:My director and I had this very conversation yesterday that making a big push to earn products worth $18 TOTAL and a tablecloth you can use one, maybe two months of the year, was just not worth it. I have the shows, but I'm not sweating getting them closed today. I'd rather wait for the outside orders and make more $$.
Plus, I have PC dollars that I can use to buy the products.
Sometimes when you step back and examine the carrot, you realize it's just not worth it.

Maybe you could ask your director if she had one you could borrow or a cluster mate!!
Well then it's time she did!:sing:JAE said:I did turn in my two shows today. I'm having a great month so far, so my first pay check will be big. Usually I don't get much until the second pay check of the month. But, it's not helping the $2500 for 1/2 conference. I have three shows scheduled for that time frame. Can anyone say "BIG SALES!"? I have closed three $800+ shows in a weeks time before. It is possible. Still trying to figure a good way to approach my mother to ask if she'll have a show while I'm visiting on spring break. She's not very supportive, and she's not had a home show since before I can remember. I must have been under 5 years old when she had a tupperware party.
I hope she will. If she doesn't say yes, I just want her to say "no" rather than saying/sort of whining "Oh, I don't want to do that. My friends won't want to come to that... blah, blah, blah." I would really appreciate it if she could just say "yes" because she wants to be supportive. We'll see.BethCooks4U said:Well then it's time she did!:sing:

You can only purchase the host special if you host a show (or buy it off someone!).jodistrauss said:How do we get the May HS if we didn't earn it last month?
True that the "actual value" may only be $18, but what about the satisfaction of setting a goal and actually achieving it - and then, being rewarded for reaching it! Sometimes, the monetary value of something doesn't equate the actual value of what it might mean to someone. Take for example, the host gift that a lot of us give to our host for having a show: a Season's Best. Whoo -hoo, it's a $1.00. But does that host feel less happy about receiving it because it's value is only $1.00? No. Ditto on this one.DebbieJ said:My director and I had this very conversation yesterday that making a big push to earn products worth $18 TOTAL and a tablecloth you can use one, maybe two months of the year, was just not worth it. My director encourages us to collect orders for the HWC products in April and turn it in May 1st as a fundraiser.lacychef said:Of course, YOU can be a host & get the host special. Collect a few orders, better yet--make it a HWC fundraiser, & turn it in asap in May; then you'll have it for your other shows that month.
The deadline for earning Hwc products is the last day of the month.
You need to have two or three shows in order to earn Hwc products, depending on your specific consultant agreement.
If you do not meet the deadline or have enough shows, you will not be eligible to earn Hwc products for that month. Make sure to plan ahead and schedule enough shows to meet the requirements.
Earning Hwc products allows you to receive free or discounted products from the Pampered Chef catalog. It's a great way to try out new products and add to your kitchen collection.
You can submit your shows through your online consultant account or by contacting your team leader. Make sure to submit them before the deadline to ensure you receive credit for your shows.
