Bren706 said:My hospitality director showed us an idea of how to get more use out of the necklaces. Instead of laminating the pictures, use plastic name badges such as these: Office Depot Brand Plastic Badge Holders 3 45 x 3 14 Horizontal Pack Of 12 by Office Depot and tie the badges to the beads. This way you can change the product photos out any time you wish without having to do a lot of laminating.

I bought name tag holders at walmart they were 12 for 1.88 and i cut my items out ($15) and used the brightly colored index cards and glued them on and wrote the name of item and value on the back and used ribbon for the necklace part. This way if I ever want to change my items I don't have to make new necklaces I just have to change the card inside. I hope it works well for me this weekend.
Bren706 said:This gave me an idea for booths as well. I usually do the "FREE Cooking Show" giveaway drawing at my booths and will have a sign that says "Book your show today and get a free gift". With my next booth, I won't have a drawing. Instead I will put all the badges in a basket, and advertise that if they book their show on the spot, they will get to choose a free gift (earned at their show) by picking out one of the badges. (kind of grab bag style).

I have been using the concept with my online shows and I got 3 parties out of it! I can't wait to use them at my first house party. Some of our newer consultants used $5-10 items instead and people were still excited and booked.

That is the only part that I am hung up on, because if the items come with the first show, what is stopping the host from taking her free item and giving the free item to the booked show host?

I don't understand why I can't figure that part out ~ maybe its my insomnia messing with my head!

Booking Beads is a simple and fun tool that helps consultants track and increase their show bookings. It involves using colorful beads to represent different types of show bookings (such as in-home, virtual, or catalog shows) and moving them along a string to visually see your progress towards your booking goals.
Unfortunately, Booking Beads is currently only available for purchase by Pampered Chef consultants. However, there are similar tools and techniques that can be used by non-consultants to increase their show bookings.
