Has anyone used the business cards? I was thinking of getting them and adhearing magnets to the back and putting them in the folders as a way to promote more sales & bookings. Just curious what anyone thought of this, or if anyone has already done this, thanks!

I brought cookbooks to my show last night, and everyone went nuts over them, I think it is different when they see them in person, 3 people purchased cookbooks...I set them out with the folders...the stoneware book seems to be the most popular with my guests.

This actually goes back to before I was a consultant...the woman doing the cooking show made the side by side calzones...and I am not kidding everyone bought a stone...she also made the skillet brownie and made sales with cookware too....I actually haven't made those for a show. The hot pizza...

I am doing the ugly oven mitt contest tomorrow night, I was wondering how I should judge it? Do people vote, or do I pick? :p August due to family issues (lots of people in the hosptial:( I am just getting back into the swing of things...any suggestions are much appreciated

:( both my August hosts have called in the past few days and rescheduled...I am so bummed about this, I have an ok amount of bookings for September and now more because of the reschedules...any good ideas on how to entice some people to host an August show??:confused:

Hee hee! ;) we are actually going to do a "surprise" wedding, which we are still planning out, basically we will have this big dinner party and then my best friend is going to make a toast while we sneak and change, and then tie the knot in front of our unsuspecting guests.:D

I noticed that the cake does rise quite high when cooking, but I never had any mess to clean up, I must have missed the part that said you should cover it!

I didn't put the lid on, and I have done the cake 3x now, it turns out great!

Okay, so there are three potential people I want to ask to do a cooking or catty show for August, I am guessing these three will all want to do catty shows, SO does anyone have a sample letter I can take notes from, I am not sure how to word it in a way to get the best results, all help is...

Well I made it, and will receive the SS 2 stuff,and the 8 qt mixing bowl, I am so excited, plus my boyfriend ordered some stuff, and just let me know it is actually for me (it would have been for me anyways, since we are getting married next year) so I am also getting the proff. family skillet...
