What is Your Favorite Low-Cost Brunch Recipe?

So far most of my brunch shows have wanted the Chicken Club Ring from the All The Best recipe book. It's an oldie but goodie. :)

Alternative Uses for Your Favorite Pampered Chef Item

It's not really an "alternative" use, but I love the smallest Twixit clip on my toddler's GoGurts and pop-ice. She can't push it up, so the Twixit clip holds it until I need to push it up more.

    Problems With Adjustable Tiered Tower

It just seems weird to get 2 defects in a row! Luckily, the customer has a great attitude (she's a friend of my sister). We've nicknamed it the Adjustable Tower of Terror. :) Thanks for the replies! I feel better, I guess, to know it's just not "my luck".

    Problems With Adjustable Tiered Tower

Has anyone else had problems with the Adjustable Tiered Tower? I have a customer who had problems getting the large plate to fit. The screw wouldn't fit through the hole in the plate. PC sent a new one. Now the new one has a problem with the middle plate. She even tried to mix the pieces...

Why Do Some Pizza Recipes Call for Flouring the Stone?

I have used cornmeal on my newer stones to keep the crust from sticking. :) A little easier than flour.

What Are Some Kid-Friendly Recipes That Hide Healthy Ingredients?

You can use the food chopper to chop veggies super fine to hide in sauces. I love to use the mini muffin pan for just about anything. Kids seem to like smaller portions. My kids also eat more when I let them help make the meal (i.e. help pour and mix, help cut up veggies with safe cutter, etc.)

What Recipes Are You Offering for Fall?

So far the Chicken Club Ring has been the popular choice. I'm going to keep it as a Fall choice, and I can change it up with the Turkey Cranberry filling as we hit the holidays. The classics always seem to win out at my shows! :)

Need Help Gearing a Show Towards Baby/Kid Friendly Foods.

I make the regular Blue Box variety in the microwave. I use the Large Microcooker. Pour in the mac with 1 3/4 cup hot water. Microwave uncovered 8-10 minutes stirring halfway through (the original directions suggest stirring every 2-3 minutes to keep the noodles from sticking together). Then...

Need Help Gearing a Show Towards Baby/Kid Friendly Foods.

The cookie press has a disk to rice potatoes. I haven't tried it for other foods, but it may work like a food mill for baby food. I know other ricers market that. Any body tried it? I love to show off the micro-cookers for moms of any aged kids. They're great to cook veggies for babyfood, or...

Fun Halloween Ideas for Kids: Tips from a Stylist & Host

Another idea for no-mess pumpkin carving is to snag the fake pumpkins at AC Moore or Michaels when they are on sale. We carved those when my kids were too little for me to deal with the mess of real pumpkins! Plus, you can re-use them every year with the battery operated tea-lights.

29 Minutes to Dinner, Both Volumes

I've tried the Beef Enchilada Casserole and Korean-Style Beef from Vol1., and I've tried the Chicken & Noodle Stir-fry and Moo Shu Pork from Vol2. I liked all of them. My family even liked them too (a shock for my picky eaters!). I've used the technique from the Beef Enchilada Casserole to make...

Fall Tailgate Treats: USC Chicken & Clemson Meat Recipes

I remember a recipe for Barbecued Chicken Drumsticks in the Celebrate cookbook. We always have wings during football season here in GA. :D The Touchdown Taco Dip is a fun tailgate recipe too.

How to Microwave a Cake in a Fluted Baker?

I use homemade Pan-ease for my stomeware baking. It's just 1 part oil, 1 part Crisco, and 1 part flour. I usually make a batch using 1/4 to 1/2 cup of each, and I keep it in the fridge to use as needed (Just rub it around with a brush or paper towel). Nothing sticks with this stuff.

    What's for Dinner...friday, July 23

I'm trying the Moo Shu Pork for dinner. I'm sure my kids will have something else. :)
