I am doing a show for the lady the cuts my hair, and it's actually at her salon (she's the owner). I know that sounds gross, but there is a large area in front of the salon that is away from the "hair stuff" lol. There will also be a Miche bag lady there, so I will not have the floor to myself. The owner definitely wants a demo, and I need help choosing a recipe. I think I am going to do the Molten Chocolate Lava Cake in the DCB, but I would like to do something else that is super quick and easy. Any ideas? I'll have a microwave and that's it. Thanks so much for your help!!!!

The Pineapple Salsa is also quick and easy, and no-cook. Just serve with tortilla chips.

The pork tenderloin is an awesome recipe...12 minutes in the micro and you can use just about any of our rubs. You can do a jamaican jerk tenderloin with pineapple or nectarine salsa. Or Mini BBQ sandwiches.

Hi there! I think the Molten Chocolate Lava Cake in the DCB is a great choice for your show. It's a crowd-pleaser and easy to make in the microwave. You could also consider doing a quick and easy appetizer like our Spinach Artichoke Dip in the Small Baker. It's always a hit and can be made in just a few minutes. Another idea would be to showcase our Quick Cooker and make a one-pot meal like our Chicken Alfredo Pasta. It's a delicious and impressive dish that can be made in under 20 minutes. Whatever you choose, I'm sure your show will be a success with such a fun and unique location. Best of luck to you!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some quick and easy recipes I can demonstrate at a Pampered Chef hair salon show?

For a hair salon show, consider demonstrating recipes that are not only quick but also visually appealing. Some great options include a refreshing fruit salad, a colorful vegetable platter with dip, or a simple pasta salad. You can also showcase easy-to-make smoothies or mocktails that can be enjoyed by guests while they wait for their appointments.

How can I incorporate Pampered Chef products into my hair salon show recipes?

Utilize Pampered Chef tools to enhance your recipe demonstrations. For example, use the Food Chopper for quick vegetable prep, the Mix ‘N Chop for salads, or the Quick Slice for uniform fruit pieces. Highlighting these products will show how they can save time and effort in the kitchen, making them appealing to your audience.

Are there any specific dietary considerations I should keep in mind for my recipes?

Yes, it’s important to consider dietary restrictions and preferences of your audience. Aim for recipes that can be easily modified for gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan diets. Providing a variety of options ensures that everyone can enjoy the food, and offering ingredient substitutions can be a great way to engage your guests.

How can I make my recipe demonstration interactive for guests at the hair salon show?

Encourage guest participation by inviting them to help with simple tasks, such as measuring ingredients or mixing. You can also set up a tasting station where they can sample the finished dishes. Additionally, consider holding a small contest or giveaway for those who participate, which can create excitement and engagement.

What tips do you have for promoting my hair salon show featuring Pampered Chef recipes?

Promote your show through social media, local community boards, and within the salon itself. Create eye-catching flyers that highlight the date, time, and what guests can expect. Offering a special discount on Pampered Chef products for attendees can also incentivize attendance and encourage sales during the event.
