Does anyone know how to convert a PDF document to a Word or other document so that you can edit it? TIA!

You'll need conversion software. Do a Google search for "free PDF to Word conversion software".

I use it all the time for our host and guest special flyers from HO and for the OO order forms! They look very professional--much better than rubber stamping or putting labels on!

Maybe we could do a "sticky" thread with helpful sites this that are requested frequently? No comments...just post websites. Like the eyeglasses site, the cutepdf site? Hmmm...Anyone have Greg's ear?

Wow, I am impressed Carolyn for your trying this out so soon! I am glad you did and glad I gave you the nudge you needed. See not all new things are difficult to learn!!!!!!
Besides putting my consultant info on these I put on the OO order form the host name, who the check should be made payable for that show and a little thank-you for filling out the form completely so I can serve you better in the future note on top.
I then click download and save and then save it as a Pdf to my PC folder on my computer so I can print it from there and not get the www stuff on the bottom of the page when I print it.

Could you please show us a sample of what you do to yours? I'm one of those people that don't do well with descriptions, need to see it first hand to get it... Thanks!

I am glad so many are seeing how great this pdf site is. I don't remember who told me about it originally (was on CS!) but it definately is a keeper! Can't beat the price either!

HELP! I'm usually okay with computer stuff but I have never delved into this realm. I went to this site, opened my file but for the life of me cannot figure out how to actually edit any of the text in it. OH WISE ONES... HELP!!!!!!! :)

I found that it works best if you download the oof from the P/C website to your desktop. Then when you are logged into the site, click on the button "to open from your computer". When the file has been opened, click on the edit button at the top and it will allow you to place a text box where you want. Then you start typing your info in. After you have typed everything that you want, you save it on their server. I did this so that I could place the host name in the box and change the tax info, if needed, for each individual show.
Then I printed it off and included it in with my Host packet for her show. You could also save and download it back to your desktop and email it to your host.
Hope this helps!:balloon:

Diane-
You wont be able to edit the text that is already there, you'll only be able to add more. That means you can type your name and contact info in the space where it says "Your Consultant" or your name where it says "Make checks payable to."

Thanks everyone. Ok, so on a typed document from someone else, if I add a text box will it write over their copy or will that not work? I am thankful to be able to know how to put my info in on flyers etc.

You can use the "whiteout" feature first to cover the text, and then add your own on top of it.
