I haven't personally used the new cookie press yet, but I have heard good things about it. From what I have read, it seems to work much better than the old one. As for a recipe to use with it, I recommend trying a classic spritz cookie recipe. These cookies are perfect for a cookie press and are a holiday favorite. Here is a simple recipe to try:Classic Spritz Cookie Recipe:Ingredients:- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened- 1/2 cup sugar- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour- 1/4 teaspoon salt- 1 egg- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract- food coloring (optional)Instructions:1. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.2. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour and salt.3. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.4. Gradually add in the flour mixture, mixing until a smooth dough forms.5. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring to the dough and mix until evenly colored.6. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.7. Fill your cookie press with the dough, following the manufacturer's instructions.8. Press the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 1 inch of space between each cookie.9. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.10. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.Enjoy your delicious spritz cookies made with your new cookie press!
