I don't have this but was wanting to make the Gooey Chocolate Mini Cakes. If I double the recipe, do you think I could use another product to bake them in? I just don't know of the dimensions to see how it compares to the prep bowls or the 12 cup muffin stone. Any help would be appreciated! :)

The muffin stone would be the closest, I have both...I've never made that recipe, so I don't know how easy they come out!

We're having 3 couples over for dessert tomorrow night. I thought I'd try a few of the new recipes on them. I always use get-togethers as an excuse to experiment. I can't rationalize making all these desserts just for me. :D

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I use instead of the Silicone Floral Cupcake Pan?

If you don't have a Silicone Floral Cupcake Pan, you can use a regular metal cupcake pan or a muffin tin. Just be sure to line it with paper liners or grease it well to prevent sticking.

Can I use a silicone mold from another brand?

Yes, you can use a silicone mold from another brand as long as it has a similar shape and size. Just ensure that it is oven-safe and suitable for baking.

Are there any alternatives for baking without a cupcake pan?

Yes, you can use ramekins or small oven-safe dishes to create individual servings. Just adjust the baking time as needed since the size may differ from a standard cupcake pan.

Is it possible to use a glass baking dish instead?

While you can use a glass baking dish, it won't create the same floral shape as the Silicone Floral Cupcake Pan. You can bake the batter in the dish and then cut it into shapes after baking if desired.

Can I make the recipe in a regular cake pan?

Absolutely! You can make the recipe in a regular round or square cake pan. Just be aware that the baking time may vary, so check for doneness with a toothpick before removing it from the oven.
