Just signed my first recruit Friday night. WooHoo! Been trying for 3 years now. I did learn a very valuable lesson. This is a lady who orders from me every month and calls herself a PC Junkie and I never offered her the business. She asked me on Thursday what it took and I brough her info on Friday and she signed that night. I will now offer to EVERYONE.

Congrats!!! I also signed my 1st recruit Sat. night. I am very excited for her. She is going to be a great consultant!:sing:

Congrat's to both of you!

Yay!!!! Good job! (and good lesson learned too)

Congrats to both of you with new recruits. Super happy for you! Please do not take this in the wrong way but personally I am a bit relieved to see that it has taken both of you some time to get a recruit. I have had a HUGE weight on my shoulders feeling like I have not been doing my job when I see so many people signing recruits days into their biz and then also having those recruits have recruits right away. I've stressed to no end on this as I am in my 2nd month, 10 shows complete and no recruits. That "1 in 10" line they give you...my experience is thats only "a line". I do ask everyone and get no where. I'll use your posts as my encouragement that it may take time, but eventually it does happen. Thanks ladies & congrats again! :D

Frequently Asked Questions

What strategies did you use to recruit your first team member after three years?

After three years of focusing on personal sales, I shifted my approach to building relationships and sharing the opportunity more openly. I started hosting more team-building events and one-on-one conversations where I could share my journey and the benefits of joining Pampered Chef. I also utilized social media to showcase the lifestyle and success stories of existing team members, which attracted potential recruits.

How did you overcome the challenges of not recruiting for three years?

It was important for me to reflect on what had held me back. I realized that I needed to change my mindset from viewing recruitment as a daunting task to seeing it as an opportunity to help others. I focused on building my confidence and sharing my passion for the products and the business model, which made it easier to connect with potential recruits.

What qualities do you look for in a potential recruit?

I look for individuals who are enthusiastic, motivated, and open to learning. It's essential that they have a genuine interest in the products and a desire to improve their financial situation or personal growth. I also value those who are team players and willing to engage with others, as this fosters a supportive environment within the team.

How did you approach the conversation about joining your team?

I approached the conversation by first building rapport and understanding their needs and goals. I would share my own experiences and how Pampered Chef has positively impacted my life. I made sure to listen to their concerns and answer any questions they had, presenting the opportunity as a way to achieve their personal aspirations rather than just a sales pitch.

What advice would you give to someone struggling to recruit?

My advice would be to focus on building relationships and trust rather than just trying to sell the opportunity. Share your own story and the benefits you've experienced, and be genuinely interested in others' goals. Attend training sessions, seek mentorship, and don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Remember, recruitment is about connecting with people and showing them how they can succeed with you.
