Jinkies said:Thank you, Ladies! I've done all my online training and have been in the business for almost 2 years (yes, I have been slacking!) I've always panicked about picking up the phone. I just need to remember what Jack Canfield said at conference, "you didn't have the show booked before you asked and if they say no, then you're no worse than you were before you asked!" I will def. go through my notes and use that line Laurie!

She couldn't help with my August goal (she needs a show later in the fall) so she called a friend to see if she wanted an August show.

How are you? Do you have a minute? Great! My director just gave me a challenge. I need to book 6 shows for August, and I really want to meet that goal. I'm glad she picked August because our annual host special on our cookware is the monthly host special! Any chance you'd like to help me and book a show?
Take a deep breath and break the challenge down into smaller, manageable tasks. Focus on one step at a time, and don't hesitate to reach out to your director for guidance or clarification. Remember, challenges are opportunities for growth!
Set specific, achievable goals and celebrate small victories along the way. Surround yourself with supportive team members and remind yourself of your 'why'—the reason you joined Pampered Chef. Keeping a positive mindset can make a big difference!
Utilize the training materials available on the Pampered Chef website, join online forums or social media groups, and consult with fellow consultants for tips and strategies. Your director may also have specific resources or tools they recommend.
Be honest and proactive in your communication. Schedule a time to discuss your challenges and ask for advice or support. Your director is there to help you succeed, so don’t hesitate to reach out!
Don't be too hard on yourself! Life happens, and sometimes things don't go as planned. Communicate with your director about your situation and ask for an extension or additional support. Focus on learning from the experience and how you can improve moving forward.
