Celebration Package

I found the following on page 17 of the Consultant Policy Guide S/S09 under the heading "Celebration Package" - The first time you promote to Team Leader you will receive a celebration package. This special award includes a variety of recruitng materials to use and share iwth your team to keep the recruting momentum going." Has anyone received this package as of yet?

Hopefully my 2nd Recruit will get her $150 in this month so I get this! My 1st Recruit is over $800 this month and I am close to $1,100 with 3 shows left to close so I know we will have our $2,500! Now if I can just get $1,400 more with the 3 shows left to put me over for 1/2 off Conference. I did Conference Club so mine is paid for but I would love the $100 back!

I'm listed as a team leader but haven't made the requirements for the month yet. I guess once the requirements are met they may go ahead and send it but I think they probably are waiting until after the 1st - I would expect it around commission day on the 8th. It's like getting paid twice. Well, not really but you know.

Maybe they are waiting to see who qualifies for team leader in the first month of the new program.
I look forward to receiving that package my self. It will be fun to get it in the mail.

I'm wondering what's in it. I'm getting ready to place a supply order, and I'm wondering about ordering recruiting stuff, since it says there is recruiting material in this package...

Nothing yet....gonna have to call HO tomorrow and see what the requirements are and when to expect....will keep you posted.

So I am on the phone and she said when your title changes the next month it would be affective and should receive them after they close month end so I told her as of April 1 I was a team leader and she said .... she will check into this and let me know. She said if you did earn your team leader status middle to end of a month then it would take affect the next month and then after they were done doing month in stuff then the package would ship out but she isn't for sure what is in it or she isn't for sure why I haven't received it since as of April 1st I was team leader she thought I would of gotten it to me by now. So sorry I don't have much information.

I went into the new program as TL and I was paid as TL last week for the month of April - still haven't gotten anything.

The rep tried to see if she could have one sent, but no go....sigh....well, she tried.

She could not find any specifics on what's in the package, only the eligibility and description of a "package with recruiting materials". Course, now she's curious too as to what's in it, and has decided she must find out! :D If she ever does learn of it, she'll be emailing me the list of materials....she assumes it's meant to be a surprise.....

So, if any of you were or became TL's before April 1st.....sorry, no packages on their way. However, if any of you DO get one, let us know what's in it!

I think she means that the package is only for those who become a Team Leader from April 1 and after. If you were a "Team Leader" (or Future Director, which became Team Leader) before April 1, it doesn't qualify you for the package.

That's a bummer...........one of those blackholes that people are falling into with the new plan. We didn't get a bunch of special stuff for promoting to future director but because we were already there we don't get anything for now being a Team Leader. I would assume that the package is just going to have the new recruiting flyer - which anybody who had recruited this year got (I think that's right) and the spiral bound career plan guide that only future directors got. I guess that would make sense but if anyone gets one and it's more than that let us know what kind of goodies you get.

If you officially became TL after April 1st, then you should be eligible for the package. I'd call HO once more, choose option 6 (the option for "customer care or other")....so they can get that squared away and have the package on its way.

Ok, here's what I think....but I would definitely verify with HO....

When I recruited my second, I earned the title of Future Director even before my recruit qualified. I believe that it's when the second recruit signs, and not qualifies that would determine whether you are receiving this package. When your recruit qualifies is when you receive the bonus of PCD, etc.

Again, my understanding that could be wrong.

The career plan guide is the same info that's on CC with the career plan info, just printed and bound. It was distributed at Leadership and mailed to people who were FD or above in January. You can get the same information by downloading the Career Plan Cards from CC. Now that the new plan is in effect, I doubt that HO will be mailing out additional copies.

Which means you must have 2 active lines, and $750 in personal sales, AND $2500 in team sales. so if you recruited your second in April but didn't reach anyone of the other requirements then you are not officially promoted. One you reach all of the requirements for TL you will get the promotion the following month then you "reward package" will be sent out.

So, why doesn't this still relate to those of us who were future directors prior to April 1. The only reason I wonder is because the requirements are actually a little different aren't they? As a future, you had 2 recruits but no personal sales or team sales requirements other than being active. Now we have personal and team sales requirements, so even if you were a future director under the old plan, you could have moved into the new plan and not met the sales requirements for the new title. Does that make sense?

I would of only gotten the celebration package if i would of recruited in April then that would move to team leader status and then it would receive it in may but where i recruited in march and it moved on the 1st to team leader i don't get it and she also told me it is the same thing as the catalog's basically before when you recruited you would get 25 catalogs and a letter and the lady said at home office it is the same thing just under a different name so i don't get it. I am thinking it doesn't really seem fair honestly. But that is how the cookie crumbles.

I called HO and spoke to the career center specialists and asked the woman if I was entitled and she said yes. They are mailing out the boxes in the middle of May which means sometime either this week or next. My suggestion is to call and ask for the career center and ask someone in that section. It seems they know a little bit more about it.

I called on Tuesday and spoke with someone in the career center too and she said "soon" they would be going out - but wouldn't give me any more of a date than that. Oh, and she did verify that I'll be getting one! YEA! More free stuff!!!

The funny thing is - I was an active FD - but in March, my team sales didn't hit $2500 - so I wasn't a TL in April, so I qualified for the Celebration Package. If my team & I had submitted another $100 or so in sales, I wouldn't have gotten it!
