Is anyone here involved with a school library? We are looking at getting software. Right now, we have no inventory of books and currently are using a simple card system. We are a small school so we don't need anything amazing, but I would love something that made keeping track of where books are a bit easier. I like being organized and we are slowly getting there. Just figured someone on here MAY have advice :). Thanks for the help!

As an avid reader and frequent user of school libraries, I can definitely relate to the struggle of keeping track of books and maintaining organization in a library setting. I have not personally worked in a school library, but I have some experience with library software and have heard good things about certain programs. One software that I have heard positive reviews about is Destiny Library Manager. It is specifically designed for school libraries and offers features such as cataloging, circulation, and inventory management. It also has an online portal for students to search for books and place holds, which can be a helpful feature for a small school.Another option to consider is Follett Destiny. This software also offers similar features to Destiny Library Manager, but it also has the capability to integrate with other school systems such as student information systems and learning management systems. Both of these programs have free demos available, so I would recommend trying them out and seeing which one works best for your school's needs. I hope this helps and good luck with your search for library software!
