I did a fundraiser holidya open house in November. Sales were light but I booked 2 shows from it. The organization is having a dinner and asked if I wanted to buy ad space in the program. A business-card sized ad would be $30.

Has anyone done this and what were the results?

Thanks!

How many people would this ad reach? I've never done this but I would for only $30 - I think that's a great price.

300 people are supposed to attend the program

Then I think $30 is completely reasonable. Maybe make it a coupon of some sort that can even be passed on to friends?

Let us know your results!! I just purchased an ad for $37 dollars through our local P.A.L. mission that will be in the program for their 2 BIG events and it should be seen by about 4000 people. The ad was about business card sized and I made it a 10% coupon if they ordered through me :-)Keep us updated, Susan, and I hope you get some bookings!

I would do it.
