Frequently Asked Questions

What is the purpose of creating a new list of 100 contacts?

Creating a new list of 100 contacts is a foundational step in direct sales, particularly for Pampered Chef consultants. This list helps you identify potential customers, hosts, and recruits who may be interested in your products or business opportunity. It serves as a starting point for building relationships and expanding your network.

How do I start compiling my list of 100 contacts?

Begin by brainstorming people you know, including friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, and acquaintances. Consider different aspects of your life, such as social circles, community groups, and online connections. Write down names and contact information as you think of them, aiming for a diverse mix of individuals.

What types of people should I include on my list?

Include a variety of individuals on your list, such as those who enjoy cooking, entertaining, or are interested in kitchen tools. Don't limit yourself to just potential customers; consider including people who might want to host a party or those who could be interested in joining your team as consultants.

How can I approach the people on my list once it's created?

Once your list is complete, reach out to individuals in a friendly and personal manner. You can start with a casual conversation, express your excitement about your Pampered Chef business, and ask if they would be interested in learning more about your products or hosting a party. Be genuine and focus on building relationships rather than making a hard sell.

What if I struggle to come up with 100 names?

If you're having difficulty reaching 100 names, try expanding your network through social media, community events, or local groups. Attend gatherings, join clubs, or participate in online forums related to cooking or home goods. Additionally, consider asking friends and family for referrals to help you grow your list.
