Things keep getting stuck!!! for example at the show yesterday I was trying to chop apples and the whole piece just got stuck between the blades.

last week when I was trying to chop chocolate same thing happened.

is it broken or am I dont something wrong?

Do you have all the pieces in place? It sounds like you're missing the little plastic guide that goes over the blades.

Sometimes that happens if I don't bang hard enough on it.

I was banging really really really hard!!!!!
I have all the peices also!

Sometimes if the pieces you put it in are really large or on the harder side (like chocolate), they get caught up in the blades and you have to spank it a bit to get them out. A few really hard & fast chops will do it.

I love that you have to "spank it"! :eek:I never, never thought of it like that but it's so true. Now I am picturing "spanking" my food chopper to make it give me back the food. Too funny!:D

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if my food chopper isn't chopping properly?

If your food chopper isn't chopping as expected, first ensure that the blades are sharp and free from any food debris. Check that you are using the chopper on a flat, stable surface and that the food is cut into smaller pieces before placing it in the chopper. If the problem persists, inspect the assembly to ensure all parts are securely attached and functioning correctly.

How can I clean my food chopper if food gets stuck?

To clean your food chopper, disassemble it according to the manufacturer's instructions. Use warm, soapy water to soak the parts, especially the blades, to loosen any stuck food. A soft brush can help remove stubborn residues. Rinse thoroughly and allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling.

Why is my food chopper leaking during use?

If your food chopper is leaking, check to ensure that the lid is properly secured and that the rubber gasket is in place. If the gasket is damaged or missing, it may need to be replaced. Additionally, ensure that you are not overfilling the chopper, as this can cause ingredients to spill out during use.

What can I do if the handle of my food chopper is stuck?

If the handle of your food chopper is stuck, try gently wiggling it back and forth to loosen it. Avoid using excessive force, as this may damage the mechanism. If the handle remains stuck, disassemble the chopper to check for any food debris or blockages that may be causing the issue.

Is there a warranty for my Pampered Chef food chopper?

Yes, Pampered Chef offers a warranty on their products, including the food chopper. Typically, there is a one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If you experience issues covered by the warranty, contact Pampered Chef customer service for assistance with repairs or replacements.
