What did you do WITHOUT ChefSuccess yesterday?

I managed to make rice pilaf in the rice cooker without a recipe from this site ... 2 tablespoons butter, a can of beef broth and a cup of rice, presto!

Anybody have a more productive day than me?

LOL...well for the first half of my day I did laundry and cleaned up my house, then I had a PC show in the evening. So it was probably a good thing CS was down because I sure wouldn't have gotten all of that done had I been on here! HA HA

Had freaken withdrawls Man! lol Wasn't on the puter much anyways, did lots of errands!

I actually convinced my DH to take a day off of work and we spent the day running errands together, let him take me to lunch and had a real conversation without being interrupted by kids - that was till they all came home from school and the chaios continued!

My kids have three days off from school, and I find it hard to get anything done when they are interrupting me all day. So, I was on my computer, spending time on other sites. I did have to go to the store and buy a birthday present, and I cleaned the kitchen. I went for a walk with my older ds, too. I should have spent more time outside because it's been raining all day so far and I think it's going to rain for the rest of the day. Yuck!

Spending time on other sites really made me appreciate the efficiency of this forum. The one I was on for most of the day was soooo annoying. We have a great site, here.

Rest of the day? The weather report I just heard says it's supposed to do this, than change to a rain/snow mix...and continue through Tuesday! Ahhhh, Fall/Winter in Michigan! The count of consecutive days without sun can now commence!

I convinced DH at lunch today that we need to rearrange the living room furniture to make room for my exercise machine. It's in the basement right now - but I hate being down there....and I need to have it someplace where I can use it, since I refuse to go out and walk in this!

I worked my tail off!!! I got so many host packs together and delivered, I booked 2 more shows for November, and I closed 3 shows! Plus made a few phone calls! Wow! I think I need to work like this more often!!! But I still need my daily fix of CS, I just can't stay for long! I have a show tonight and tomorrow! Busy, busy, busy! But that is fabulous!:D;)

I think I hit the refresh button a zillion times yesterday :p
