I'm a new consultant - started in September. I was curious, for those who have been in the business for a few years - how have your December bookings been? Good or bad?

Obviously, being a new consultant, I would love to cash in on the wonderful offer on free products with $1000 or more in sales.

Thanks so much for your input.

Make it what you want it.December can be as good as you want it to be. I usually hold 6-7 shows in the first two weeks of the month so I don't have to work until after Leadership. Making the $5000 mark is a little harder because of the holiday, but you can do it if you try. You can also have catalog shows!

Just overbook! Decemeber cancellations seem to happen more to me because of the hectic holiday season!

You can also offer incentives for hosting a party in December, such as a free product or discount. It's all about creating a sense of urgency and excitement around the free products offer. Good luck and happy holiday selling!

Frequently Asked Questions

What strategies can I use to maximize my December bookings as a new Pampered Chef consultant?

To maximize your December bookings, focus on leveraging holiday themes in your parties, such as gift ideas, holiday cooking tips, and entertaining essentials. Promote your events through social media, email, and personal invitations. Consider hosting virtual parties to reach a wider audience and offer incentives for bookings, like discounts or free products for hosts.

How can I effectively promote the free products offer to potential hosts?

Highlight the value of the free products in your promotional materials. Use social media posts, emails, and personal conversations to explain how hosting a party can earn them free products. Share testimonials from past hosts about their positive experiences and the benefits they received. Create urgency by emphasizing limited-time offers or exclusive products available only in December.

What types of parties work best for December bookings?

December is ideal for holiday-themed parties, such as cookie decorating, holiday meal prep, or gift-making workshops. Consider hosting virtual cooking classes or in-home gatherings that focus on festive recipes. Additionally, consider partnering with local businesses for co-hosted events, which can expand your reach and attract more guests.

How can I stay organized while managing multiple December bookings?

Use a planner or digital calendar to keep track of your bookings, party themes, and host details. Set reminders for follow-ups and confirmations with hosts and guests. Create a checklist for each party to ensure you have all necessary materials and products ready. Consider using a spreadsheet to track sales and bookings to maintain a clear overview of your progress.

What should I do if I encounter resistance from potential hosts?

If you face resistance, listen to their concerns and address them directly. Offer flexible hosting options, such as virtual parties, to accommodate their schedules. Share success stories of other hosts and the benefits they gained. If they are still hesitant, consider offering a special incentive, like a bonus gift for hosting, to encourage them to take the leap.
