 For anyone out there that is crafty, I am in need of "direction"!! I've seen the small paper albums that Creative Memories has available, and I've given this type of idea to my PTA for a "gift" for 50 Japanese children that we have coming to visit my daughter's school in May. I figured this would be something that the children here as well as there could start together and they could just put in pics from their whole trip. I thought it would be simple enough, and cheap enough. But here's the deal: they want some samples and I can't seem to figure out how to get started!!! If any of you have ideas or have done something like this, I'd love your help. CHEAP is the prime on these, and easy is the next qualifier. TIA!!!

How much were you planning on spending for this event? I may be able to help you with this!! Just let me know.

Ok I have a Brownie troop and I got a similar less expensive idea.
Cut a foamie sheet in half lengthwise
cut 5 81/2 x 11 sheets of paper in half length wise
fold both in half. put paper inside the foamie sheet so it looks like a book
punch holes along the folded edge.
let helpers thread yarn or string thru holes.
Makes a cute album to decorate!

The less, the better. Honestly, I wouldn't think more than like $150.....

Hi there!I may not be able to help with the crafty aspect, but as a Pampered Chef consultant, I can definitely help with the "cheap and easy" part! Have you considered using our customizable recipe cards as the base for your album? They are durable and come in packs of 50, so you won't have to worry about running out. Plus, you can print out pictures and glue them onto the cards, and even add some fun embellishments like stickers or washi tape. It's a simple and cost-effective solution that will still allow the children to personalize their albums.Another idea could be to use our mini bamboo cutting boards as the cover for the album. They are the perfect size and can be decorated with markers or paint. Then, you can punch holes in the corners and string ribbon or twine through to create a binding for the album. This would also make a great keepsake for the children to take home with them.I hope these ideas help and I wish you all the best with your project!
