I might be an idiot. But I am having a heck of a time entering this catalog show into my PWS. The hostess is a friend of mine who is over in Japan. I tried several different ways to enter the address into the show setup, and it keeps yelling at me to enter a valid address. Its APO AE. I have tried using APO as the city, I have left it blank, I have written Japan?? Help me out, Pleaseeeeeeeeee

Nevermind, I am an idiot. Its APO AP.... Explains the Error message. Sorry. Has anyone done a show like this overseas while they were stateside? Any issues come up?

I have done 2 shows catalog of course for APO AE ( Germany ) and had no problems at all. Also, since all the payments are always with credit, the orders seem to get processed SUPER DUPER FAST!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an APO address and how does it differ from a regular address?

An APO (Army Post Office) address is used for military personnel stationed overseas. It allows service members to receive mail and packages while deployed. Unlike regular addresses, APO addresses use a military postal service format, which includes an APO designation and may not have a standard city or state.

Why can't I enter an APO address for my Pampered Chef catalog show?

Some systems may not accept APO addresses due to restrictions in their address validation processes. It's important to ensure that the address format is correct and that you're using the appropriate shipping options that support military addresses.

How can I troubleshoot issues with entering an APO address?

First, double-check the format of the APO address to ensure it follows the correct structure: Name, Unit, APO, AE/AA/AP, and ZIP code. If the system still rejects the entry, try contacting customer support for assistance or check if there are specific guidelines for entering military addresses in your Pampered Chef account.

Are there specific shipping options available for APO addresses?

Yes, many shipping carriers offer services that support delivery to APO addresses. However, it’s essential to select a shipping method that explicitly states it can deliver to military addresses. Check with your shipping provider for details on their policies regarding APO shipments.

Who can I contact for help if I'm still having trouble with my APO address entry?

If you continue to experience issues, reach out to Pampered Chef customer service or your direct sales consultant for assistance. They can provide guidance on how to properly enter your APO address and ensure your order is processed correctly.
