I need all the ideas I can get!! The owner of my children's gymnastics studio is going to host an open house. She is going to have an open gym for the kids while the parents shop. We are inviting all the parents of kids taking her classes, her personal friends, and opening it up to the public. There is a fall festival this weekend. She already has a booth and said she would like to have a sign and something to hand out to people about the open house.

This just came up yesterday and grew today!! It is scheduled for Nov. 9th, 6-8. My thoughts were to set up as many displays for holiday gifts as possible. I would set up the homemade for the holidays ideas and other gift sets to give people ideas.

Please help with advertising ideas, what to have on hand to eat, and display ideas. Thank you so much!!!

Any great ideas?

First off, let me say WOW! That is awesome! I wish I had a huge open house like that!

To eat, hmmm maybe some desserts like the warm nutty caramel brownies. Those are really easy to make and who doesnt like brownies! Oh and the Jerk Chicken Nachos. Since it's november, perhaps maybe the turkey and cranberry ring?

I hope this helps give you some ideas. I would pbly stick to finger foods and something that is easy to make for such a large crowd.

Since this is at a gym keep in mind healthy eating themes...

Also, for every parent with kids in a sport or event, time is precious, so some time saving ideas.

Now why didn't i think of that! lol...

Promote the 29 minute cookbook. Like Janet said kids in sports usually doesn't lead to a whole lot of time to cook a healthy meal.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some effective ways to promote my children's gymnastics studio open house?

Promote your open house through various channels such as social media, local community boards, and email newsletters. Create eye-catching flyers and distribute them in schools, parks, and community centers. Consider offering incentives, like free trial classes or discounts for signing up during the event, to attract more attendees.

How can I create an engaging atmosphere during the open house?

Set up fun activities and demonstrations that showcase the skills and programs offered at your studio. Consider having a mini gymnastics show, interactive stations for kids to try out basic skills, and a photo booth with props. Ensure the environment is welcoming with music, decorations, and friendly staff to engage visitors.

What should I include in the open house agenda?

Your agenda should include a welcome speech, guided tours of the facility, live demonstrations of gymnastics routines, and Q&A sessions with coaches. Additionally, provide time for parents to meet with instructors and discuss class options, as well as opportunities for children to participate in hands-on activities.

How can I gather feedback from attendees after the open house?

Set up a feedback station with comment cards or a digital survey that attendees can fill out before they leave. Encourage parents to share their thoughts on the event and what they would like to see in the future. This feedback can help you improve future events and understand the interests of your community better.

What follow-up actions should I take after the open house?

After the open house, send thank-you emails to all attendees, expressing appreciation for their participation. Include a recap of the event, any special offers, and links to register for classes. Additionally, follow up with any leads or inquiries made during the event to convert interest into enrollments.
