I was just thumbing through the F/W Consultant News. On Page 18 there are (2) recipes and one is the Garlic Bites. It says melt 1 TABLESPOON BUTTER in Executive Saute Pan. I have done these a number of times and have used 1 STICK OF BUTTER. ?????

I don't think 1 T. is enough...I think one stick is too much! I would use about 3-4T. I think if you don't have enough, they don't brown up and taste as good! Yours (with a whole stick) are probably OUT OF THIS WORLD!!

My problem was that they didn't all fit in the pan. Are they supposed to stack on top of eachother? The inside was still doughy.

If you use the 5-pack for the 8'' pan, it should fit - you might have to squish them together a little. If they are still gooey in the middle, just bake them a while longerr.

What I have done in the past is melt 1 stick of butter in 8" saute pan. Add 1 garlic and Italian Seasoning. I quarter the biscuits and toss them in the butter, garlic, seasoning mixture. Bake in oven. They are YUMMY. Nicely brown on top. At Christmas last year I did a double batch in the family skillet and my family went nuts.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Garlic Bites and how are they prepared using the Executive Saute Pan?

Garlic Bites are a delicious appetizer made by sautéing garlic in butter, often served with bread or as a topping for various dishes. To prepare them using the Executive Saute Pan, simply melt 1 stick of butter over medium heat, add minced garlic, and cook until fragrant. You can also add herbs or spices for extra flavor.

Can I use a different type of pan instead of the Executive Saute Pan?

While you can use other pans to make Garlic Bites, the Executive Saute Pan is designed for even heat distribution and non-stick cooking, which helps prevent burning and sticking. Using this pan will yield the best results for a perfectly sautéed garlic flavor.

How long should I sauté the garlic in the butter?

Typically, you should sauté the garlic for about 1-2 minutes until it becomes fragrant and lightly golden. Be careful not to overcook it, as garlic can quickly turn bitter if browned too much.

Can I add other ingredients to the Garlic Bites recipe?

Absolutely! You can customize your Garlic Bites by adding ingredients like crushed red pepper flakes for heat, fresh herbs like parsley or basil for freshness, or even grated cheese for a richer flavor. Just be sure to adjust the cooking time accordingly to ensure everything is cooked properly.

Is the Executive Saute Pan dishwasher safe for easy cleanup?

Yes, the Executive Saute Pan is dishwasher safe, making cleanup a breeze after preparing your Garlic Bites. However, for best results and to maintain the non-stick surface, hand washing with mild soap and a soft sponge is recommended.
