I am VERY lucky to have a training day with Chris Manion coming up 4/21. She's doing a Cooking Show live, recruitment, bookings and general training for us so I think my choices will compliment that as well. :)

I know my director and her director reserved 3 rooms and that there are some spots open right now, but they are keeping them open in the hopes that others will change their mind and register for conference.

I know that helps you VERY little -- but if for some reason they are still open when we start getting closer to conference I will let you know.

Sorry I can't be of more help -- I think they are hoping a few more people sign up and a couple of "Tentative" people are hemming and hawing over it right now and they don't want them to get stuck w/o a room.

I don't know what they've done in the past, but last year we did see a video of the distribution center. We only went in there for the shopping spree & then we walked back out to the buses through it. But we weren't given a tour of it or anything. Maybe that's what they've always done?

I wasn't at NC last year, so I'll have to take your word that it was bad. In 2005, I went to a workshop that was, honestly, a complete waste of my time. It gave me something to laugh about later with my friends.

It was truly awful. I didn't learn a thing. It was right after lunch. The room was hot, so I got really sleepy. Of course, I sat on the front row, so I couldn't even take the opportunity to catch a few winks. I think maybe about 20-25 mins, though i dont live in Lousiville anymore just moved to east canton but thats only about 5 mins from Louisville, Im so excited for conference this week has just been terrible I lost my great grandma on Tuesday so I need this break

Not sure which one would be better...but I chose Test Kitchens cuz they normally give out lots of suggestions and tips. (Especially about the NEW products!) AND you can normally get a Cooking Show Live on DVD to watch at home!

Well, my classes will be changing since I'm going to take a directorship class and I'll be at the director training event so I won't be at Lyn Conways either. I sure do hope to see you all though in my other classes. HO said I can't change until I get onsite. Ugh!!
