I had a guest book a show in November and because she is having it at 6pm, she wants me to do an entree. Normally I have done the Anitpasto Veggie Pizza and it was a hit but she is not too keen on the raw veggies.

Does anyone know of an easy recipe that I could do? I have the rectangular baker, sqaure baker, deep dish baker, rectangular stone and the large round stone.

Any of the wreath or rings are great entree items. How about the Turkey Cranberry Wreath? It's a natural this time of year since you can show your guests how to use up their leftover turkey after Thanksgiving (we make this every year at our house!). Chicken and Broccoli Braid is also a big favorite!

Hi there! How about trying a savory tart or quiche? You can use pre-made pie crust or puff pastry, and fill it with your choice of cooked vegetables, cheese, and protein (like chicken or ham). It's easy to make and can be served at room temperature, making it perfect for a 6pm event. Another option could be a baked pasta dish, like a lasagna or baked ziti, which can also be made ahead of time and served warm or at room temperature. Hope that helps!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a quick and easy entree dish I can prepare for a 6pm event?

A great option is a one-pan chicken and vegetable bake. Simply season chicken breasts with your favorite spices, add a mix of seasonal vegetables, drizzle with olive oil, and bake for about 30-35 minutes. It’s simple, delicious, and requires minimal cleanup!

Can I make a pasta dish quickly for my event?

Absolutely! A creamy garlic pasta can be made in under 30 minutes. Cook your pasta, sauté garlic in olive oil, add cream and Parmesan cheese, and toss everything together. You can also add cooked chicken or shrimp for extra protein.

What can I prepare ahead of time for a 6pm event?

Stuffed bell peppers are a fantastic make-ahead dish. You can prepare the filling of rice, beans, and ground meat in advance, stuff the peppers, and refrigerate them. Just pop them in the oven about 30 minutes before your event to heat through.

Are there any vegetarian options I can make quickly?

Yes! A vegetable stir-fry with tofu is both quick and satisfying. Just chop your favorite vegetables, sauté them with tofu in a bit of soy sauce and sesame oil, and serve over rice or noodles. It’s healthy and can be made in about 20 minutes!

What dessert can I serve alongside my entree for a complete meal?

Consider making a simple fruit salad or a no-bake cheesecake. For the fruit salad, just mix seasonal fruits and add a splash of citrus juice. For the cheesecake, combine cream cheese, sugar, and whipped cream, pour into a crust, and chill until serving time. Both are easy and refreshing options!
