118 WAYS TO GET PAMPERED CHEF BOOKINGS

I went through this list and realistically checked off the things I could do. I counted at the end--75! 75 things I could do (without even having a show booked on the calendar right now, and having run dry with my list of 100).. now, granted some things might cost a few dollars (such as advertising), but they ARE things that I COULD do. Even if I had only counted up 30 or 50 things, that's still a lot!

Thanks, Jodi! Great List!!! I am also in SS#1, having a good month so far, but want to make the most of this wonderful opportunity!

Free cooking show drawingsI'm working on making free cooking show drawing boxes to put in a few local businesses. I'm hoping they go well. I figure I can call everyone who puts a slip in, as long as the response isn't overwelming. I'll let you know how they work.

I have some great letters to mail to friends and neighbors. Plus a grocery store flyer. I found them all here so I don't want to repost them. Please send me an email or private message if you are interested.

Do you mind me asking what response you got from these ideas? I've posted at the local grocery store, but got nothing from that. Though I think I will post again and have the flyers with the business cards at the bottom this time. Maybe I'll get something from that. What business types were you looking to put your boxes in?
thanks :) I'm trying to re-jumpstart my business again and I'm TWISTing how I look at everything.. :D

Wow!I am new here and also am in my super starter month. I am feeling overwhelmed and am so glad I looked at this site. I am going to print ALL of the suggestions and really LOVE # 118. My 1st show is with a girlfriend at work and my second is my own OPEN HOUSE. I have done a lot of getting ready and purchased a lot of inexpensive PC door prizes. Thank you for all the suggestions and I am going to pass this all along to my friend who also just signed up the same time I did. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!

Bumping the bookings!

Have you had your new consultant training yet? Have you done your list of 100? I would definitely talk to your director or recruiter if you haven't had an official training yet.

I should have mentioned that I bumped a thread from 2005 because it had some great info. Just in case the OP doesn't respond, I didn't want you to think he/she was rude.

Hi, Ann! I'm gonna say what you have personally heard me say at just about every meeting I have been to - run a booth at a fair for a couple hours. That is how I totally restarted my business here in Jersey and I am already looking for booths for when I get to Colorado. That is the best way I think. Most of the time, if you take the time to talk to people at the event you will know if they are intersted or if they are just entering your drawing. Even if you only get 2-3 bookings, it will get you going. 2 bookings from both of those shows will lead to 4, 2 from those 4 will lead to 8, etc. It worked for me and it's what I tell anyone who is looking for more contacts.

Fairs are a great idea! I have myself booked for three of them between now and Nov to give my business a boost! I met someone who became a consultant at a fair! You just never know! And, if I got 2 or 3 solid bookings, I would call it successful!
