For the host (on the surface) that's the only difference. If she holds a cooking show she gets the benefit of having her friends over (fun) and because you are going to show and tell them all about the products they will need to get more of them so the sales will be higher and at least someone will want to have their own show so she will get more free stuff and higher discounts at her show and then be able to use her 10% discount and also purchase the monthly host special at her friend's show. And of course, you will get a higher commission check. The difference is much bigger than we think - now to get that across to the hesitant host...

Well, the answer is the same as at the show ^^^ but they'll get more MONEY because you demo the products. As far as bookings are concerned they will get $3 for each booking and not the monthly special and there is no past host discount - they are more likely to get bookings with a cooking show than a catalog show.

fundraiser...i thought that the chairperson who was heading the fundraiser did get the monthly host special and if the fundraiser was booked from a show the past host gets a host special...am i correct?

I do fundraisers quite often--the chairperson of the fundraiser (catalog or cooking) gets the host special 60% off item--just put a check up top of pampered partner order that she is the chairperson----also the past host they may have booked from gets it--I am currently ending one like that---I am not sure that the chairperson gets a 60% off item at the people who book from a fundraisers show--I never offer it
There is no extra $15 for cooking show part--it is strictly 10% cash under $600 and 15% cash over $600--$3 per booking
Also if u have a website tell them to e-mail their buddy list to place orders for the fundraiser!!

The booking benefit is $3 to the organization. The chairperson is not eligible to get the past host benefit.

How does that get put into pampered partner that it was a cooking show fundraiser and not a catalog show?

10-15How do they calcuate the percentages? Is it 10% of everything under $600 and then the 15% kicks in? Or do they give you 15% of everything when the show is over $600? Hope this makes sense...Thanks for clarifying...BEE

Clarification:

1. The chairperson DOES get to take advantage of the monthly host special. You enter his/her order as a guest, click the "chairperson" box up by the name, and then enter the item.

2. The PAST host DOES get the booking benefit! If the fundraiser was booked from a past show, that host also gets to choose the monthly host special.

3. If any shows are booked from the fundraiser, the chairperson does NOT get the booking benefit into the future.
