What My Guys Will Be Doing While I'm in Chicago!

In summary, DH dragged KG to the tractor show this year, and she said that it was not her favorite event. KG is looking forward to when DS is old enough to go with them. KG is also looking forward to the day when she can have the house to herself.

Whew!

Annual tractor show will give farm equipment a chance to run off a little steam - Grand Rapids News - The Latest News, Blogs, Photos & Videos – MLive.com

I am so glad that I am in Wave 3! Every year, DH drags me to this thing, and I really really really dislike it. I told him this year that I thought it was time for it to be a "father-son" outing.
Well, this year, by default, it gets to be one!

Seriously, I don't mind Car Shows, but I hate having to spend the day in a dry, dusty field, with no place to sit (unless you want to watch the tractor pulls) and only Port-a-potties. The only good thing is the homemade ice cream for sale.

Oh darn, you're going to miss it this year! ;)

Oh, Deere. It sounds like you can't a Ford another tractor show with Allis and Oliver friends.

That's a good one, KG!

You'll just have to plow forward without attending the show.I just hope DH doesn't think you baled on him.

I believe this may be why God gave us a son. So I have someone as a stand-in for the Tractor Show!

I can now legitimately say "I think you two should have some Father-Son time, so why don't the two of you go alone?"

:D:D:D

I'm also looking forward to the day when DS is old enough to go to Mopar Nationals with DH, and I can have the house to myself for 3 days!

I can tell you are so upset about missing out that you are on the verge of tears, so I'm gonna hand you a virtual Kleenex.:) I felt the same way when I was so conveniently unable to attend the Warhammer Games Day in Atlanta with my DH last year. I was tickled to death not to have to go to that thing! Have fun at NC!

Thanks for the kleenex! I need it to wipe away those tears of joy...

Ummm, did I just type that out loud?

My son will be with Grandma at the annual Case Corp picnic! He'll be seeing tractors too! :)...and just remember KG, nothing kills a Deere like a Magnum...

Well, at the time, through the glasses provided at the bottom of Bud bottles, it probably seemed like a good idea.(Wow - this thread is beyond hijacked, it's just plain wrecked.)
