Hormel has purchased the Skippy peanut butter line from Unilever in a deal that will exchange about $700 million for the brand and a couple of factories. It makes the mind wander about, trying to figure out what the makers of Spam are going to do with Skippy Peanut Butter.

Lunch fusion? Combine them in a product called Spippy?

Skam?

I'm having a tough time trying to decided what a Spam sandwich with peanut butter would be - besides kinda disgusting.

What do you think they're going to do with it?

Obviously you've never been to Spamorama in Austin, Tx. Great place to go if you want to be grossed out by Spam!

Hi there! As a pampered chef consultant, I am always interested in new food combinations and flavors. While the idea of a Spam and peanut butter sandwich may sound a bit unconventional, I believe that Hormel will find a creative and delicious way to incorporate Skippy peanut butter into their products. Perhaps they will create a new line of savory and sweet spreads or use it as a glaze for their meats. I'm excited to see what they come up with! What are your thoughts on the potential collaboration between Hormel and Skippy?
