    'The Comfort Zone'. How often have you heard this expression in sales? It usually tends to come from management when discussing a sales representative who perhaps is 'coasting' and could be doing a lot more to enhance their activity and their So, what is this 'comfort zone'? How does it occur? And how can you prevent it?

  2. the comfort zone is people who you are comfortable with. For example, I had no problem asking friends and family to host a show but when it came to people who I (Quote,Thought were to good to host a show), it was extremely hard for me to pick up the phone and call them. However, My director gave us a challenge to write 4 names of people who we weren't comfortable wiath to call them and whoever called all (4) people on their card the fastest would get an exceptional PC product. Even if they were no's. I want you to know I did this last week and out of the 10 names I called, I got 6 bookings. Just goes to prove the fact, you never know until you ask. All they can do is say no but if they say yes, WOW! look how your bookings can go up!
