Rice in DCB for Fajitas: Tips and Tricks

In summary, you can use any type of rice in the Deep Covered Baker with Fajitas, but it's important to adjust the amount of liquid and cooking time according to the type of rice. The amount of rice needed will depend on the number of servings, and it's better to use slightly less than you think you need as rice will expand when cooked. You can also add vegetables or other ingredients to the rice, but make sure to adjust the liquid and cooking time. To prevent sticking, coat the bottom and sides of the Baker with oil or use a non-stick liner. The Baker can also be used to make rice without fajitas, as it is a versatile kitchen tool. I just bought some Minute Rice this past week so I could try it the next time I make the fajitas. Did you use Minute Rice? I believe that was what the person said to use.

yes I used minute rice

I posted this a while back. My director is the one that told me about it. She said that you can't use a lot of rice, barely enough to cover the bottom of the baker. Instant rice is definitely what you'd want to use.
