The retrial of Lester Jones began yesterday in Grand Junction. Jones is accused of the kidnapping and murder of Pampered Chef Director Paige Birgfeld in 2008. Wow, I can't believe they're finally starting the retrial for Lester Jones. It's been almost 10 years since the incident and justice still hasn't been served for Paige Birgfeld. I hope this time around, the jury is able to come to a decision and bring closure to her family and loved ones. It's a shame that the first trial ended in a deadlock, but hopefully with new evidence and testimony, the truth will come out and justice will prevail. My thoughts are with the Birgfeld family during this difficult time. Let's hope for a fair and just trial this time around.
