Any Product Suggestions for Pampered Chef's Spring Line?

Does anyone have any good ideas for products? Just curious what everyone is thinking for the new spring products. I e-mailed HO and told them a spice rack with varying hole-sizes so we can put all our spices, rubs, and sprinkles in it. Also, I asked for a black Spoon Rest so it will match our Tool Turn-About and an apron. I get so many customers asking for an apron!

Ooooh, what about canisters, chip and dip servers, silverware, dish soap, I'm sure all of these can make someone's life easier in the kitchen.

Those are great! I also thought about glasses and silverware to match the dish set. I wish they would come out with something not dots. Something solid colored to ground the set.

Yeah, me, too! I loved loved loved the tiles. Too bad they didn't last.

I would like to see kids items brought back or new ones added.

I would also like to see:
Simple Additions S&P shakers, teapot, butter dish, one-piece chip/dip server, cake plate on stand w/glass dome
Woven Selections picnic basket
pineapple corer
bamboo spoons sold individually (I don't like the longer handles)
Dips recipe card collection or cookbook
Allergy cookbook (gluten free, etc)
spice rack/holder

I'm sure I can come up with more. That is just all I have right now.:blushing:

I love the allergy cookbook idea! And what about a cookbook holder. I had to ask for one for Christmas and I hate that my fam has to go elsewhere to get me a kitchen tool!

The Woven Selections Picnic Basket is a great idea! It should have holders for Dots Stemware, as well as SA plates (for those fancy picnics), or for the outdoor plates and tumblers.I'll have to second what others have said:
1. DCB Cookbook
2. Spice Rack
3. Pineapple Corer (Williams-Sonoma has one, but I think they have a patent on it)
4. SA Bowls in between the small and medium ones (for those of us that use the white SA as dishes)
5. Coarse drum for the rotary grater
6. A new sweet sprinkle (chocolate peanut butter, maybe?)
7. Serving utensils that aren't beaded, but still of good quality (like the ones discontinued a while back)
8. Discounts when purchasing multiple pantry itemsI cannot possibly think of any other "gadgets", though.

Smaller sizes in the collapsible bowl
Garlic Keeper
Lids for SA bowls

I'll second the request for a cookbook holder. I have one from another DS company, but I'd love to have one to use at shows (not to mention to use at home!). For the past couple of seasons, other posters have suggested one that matches the metal of the SA stands, and I think that would be a nice idea. :)

Some of the things I keep asking for:SA teapot
SS teakettle
spice rack to match SA stands
cookbook holder to match SA standsFor spring, I think some outdoor entertaining pieces would be fun:
picnic basket
condiment rack (to carry grinders and other condiments out to the grill or picnic table)

  • #11
I would like to see a cover for the grinders.

  • #12
OHHH yes
The DCB cookbook, that would be awesome
Spice rack, picnic basket, I love everyone's ideas!!

That's what I want too!

A candy thermometer and bring back kids stuff!

  • #18
Oh yeah, and I love the idea of a spice rack too....bamboo, preferably! :)

  • #19
So, just curious, is anyone sending this thread to HO?? ;)

  • #20
I want a cookbook stand! I'm so excited to go to Leadership to see what they come up with!

  • #21
love the woven selections picnic basket idea

The spice rack would be a good idea and so would be the DCB cookbook and the pinic basket would be great but I am thinking they are going to probably come out with more bamboo since everything is trying to go green which would be cool I want some other new oil and spices and I am sure Keith had the right idea of them bring out a new spinkle since they have been a good seller. I am wanting more bbq items and a smaller collaspable bowl would be great and even in a different color. One thing my customers ask for is the scrapers in different colors like they used to for spring and winter and people ask me if they are going to change the color of our cranberry linen things to a different color which would be cool.

Here is my wish list.
1. Dishwasher safe lids for the batter bowls and prep bowls
2. teapot - dripless
3. Non-beaded serving utensils
4. More open stock pots & pans
5. Coarse drum for the rotary grater
6. Something to replace the Chillzanne Rectangular Server that was just discontinued.

Dots sugar and creamer. Cookbook Index. It could be blank and we just fill in the locations of our favorite recipes from our books. I have one from a Cookbook Club I
subscribed to years ago. It would not have to cost much more than our Season's Best.

  • #25
teapot for sure
maybe even some tea??
and a vegetarian and or vegan cookbook! My friends try to alter the recipes for every show! They come out ok, but I know they could be better. It would just be so much easier if HO offered us some options.
I want the brown sugar bear to come back too!
and a cook book holder would be super! I have one and I love it, it's not PC though

Thanks for the shoutout, girlfriend!

The candy/meat thermometer that was out years ago. Had a timer too. Love it!!!

  • #29
A candy thermometer is a great idea, though I think it's more likely to a fall / winter product.

I really wish we'd get coloured scrapers again, as well as coloured cutting boards.

Also, I'll go with my usual.... an oversized apple wedger-type thing that would slice pies, cakes, etc. into even slices.

Love all the other ideas you guys have posted, too :)

The only thing I can think of is Bamboo Placemats. Oh and my customers would like to see the collapsible bowl in a different color LOL

  • #31
A cover of some sorts for the grinders would be awesome!
SA plates/bowls in cranberry...or chocolate-colored dishes...
Cake stand

  • #32
Spice rack
Candy thermometer
Kids things would be great
smaller Tool Turn-About. My dd has no room for the regular one.

Anytime BF !!!!!! I do hope we get more sprinkles !!!!!!

I knew the prep bowl lids weren't supposed to go in the dishwasher, but I've always put my batter bowl lids in the top rack of the dishwasher. Never had a problem.

  • #35
an oven mit glove to fit over the handles on the pans so when I take them out of the oven, I'll stop burning myself, my last burn was pretty bad!

I'm sure they read this board.

I like the oven mit for the handle of the pans idea, the picinic basket, the change in the color from the lime green, SA peices in something other than dots.

I sent a request for a bigger Bamboo bowl, one for serving the salad, not for eating it. I have had quite a few outside orders not realize the current one wasn't the size for serving salad in.

I would also LOVE to see a Chillzanne-like item line. That would be FANTABULOUS!!!!

Good point Deb, but I think it wouldn't really do much anyway of them reading till when the fall comes out cause we know they all have decided what is going to come out this spring.

I KNOW there are people from HO who read this board. A couple of them recognized me at Conference from my screen name on my CS button.

I just made some Cranberry Orange bread in the mini-loaf pan and realized that we need a mini serrated bread knife! I feel silly using the 9" beast to cut a lil loaf.

The green color-coated tomato knife works really well for the mini loaves!

I second the DCB cookbook and request a Trifle Bowl cookbook, Maybe a diabetic cookbook.

I get ALOT of request for a larger grill basket.

OPEN STOCK COOKWARE!!!!!!

  • #45
What about "It's Good for you too" to include recipes for people with allergies, gluten-free allergies, dairy-free, low sugar and low carb ... eating healthy isn't just about lower cholesterol ...

Something to contain the droppings from the grinders would be nice but it would be even nicer if we had grinders that didn't leave droppings ...

A SMALLER collapsable bowl or something that would be a FUNCTIONAL chip/dip container ... When I showed people the chip-dip function of that big bowl they laughed at the large amount of space for the dip and the small amount of space for the chips ...

Open stock SAUCEPANS!

And ... can we please say goodbye to green?

Bring back the Cake Tester!

  • #49
I want a tray/cover for the grinders (maybe SA or bamboo) and we still need a lid for the Salad Spinner Bowl!

I had a couple of customers ask for a bigger Grill Basket.
