Please pray for my sister, Renee. She has been suffering from Hepatitis C for several years now, and is hoping to receive a transplant someday (she is not far enough on the list). My mother forwarded the following today:
just a note to bring you up to speed on my health. on oct 31st i had somekind of episode that landed me in emergency. it was uncontrollable body movements (they had to strap me down) uncontrollable speach and facial grimacing. i was aware this was going on but i could not do anything about it. it was so scarey. since then i have had 3 small ones then on monday and friday i was back in the hospital. i cant be left alone cuz it hits quick. tom, pam and ernie stayed with me last week. bert will take off monday with me and sherrying is coming from san jose to stay with me tues through friday. not sure what im gonna do the week after thanksgiving yet. as to what is causing it we are not sure yet. they took me off my bipoler and depression meds. they found out my iron is high. it should be between 35 and 160 but mine is at 263. they are checking the coper level and checking for something called porphyria. hopefully we know something in a couple of weeks. on a lighter note we are going to toms for thanksgiving. should be fun. what are you doing for thanksgiving? i wrote lisa and told her about this but i havent written dara or sarah or toni. so if you talk with them you can tell them. im gonna close for now and will let you know more when i know. i love you.
