What are some non-cooking fundraiser ideas for a long-distance PTA fundraiser?

In summary, there are many different types of fundraisers that do not involve cooking shows. Some ideas include crowdfunding, hosting a fun run, raffles, silent auctions, car washes, bake sales, yard sales, fundraising concerts, online stores, donation drives, and virtual fundraisers. It is also important to check with local PTA guidelines before implementing any of these ideas.

Hey Y'all .. I need help! I have a friend that lives across the country from me that wants me to give her information about Fundraisers so she can bring it before her PTA ... I have no idea what to send her and was wondering if anyone has done a fundraiser like this before?? Everything I find is associated with a cooking show and that is not possible with me. Thanks!!

There are many different types of fundraisers you can use that don't involve cooking shows. Here are some ideas: 1. Crowdfunding: Set up an online crowdfunding page and ask friends, family, and even strangers to donate money to support your cause. 2. Host a Fun Run: Organize a 5K fun run in your local community and ask participants to donate money to enter.3. Raffles: Sell raffle tickets with prizes such as gift cards or other items donated by local businesses. 4. Silent Auction: Ask local businesses to donate items for a silent auction and have people bid on the items. 5. Car Wash: Ask volunteers to help run a car wash and have people pay a fee to get their cars washed. 6. Bake Sale: Ask volunteers to bake goodies and sell them at a bake sale. 7. Yard Sale: Ask people to donate items for a yard sale and charge a fee for people to shop. 8. Fundraising Concert: Have a local band or musician host a concert and charge an admission fee. 9. Online Store: Set up an online store and have people purchase items from it. 10. Donation Drive: Ask people to donate items such as canned goods, school supplies, or other items which can be sold or given away to support your cause.

One idea could be to have a virtual fundraiser where people can donate online or through a text-to-give platform. This can be done through a fundraising website or app, where people can make donations and also share the fundraiser with their friends and family on social media. You could also partner with local businesses to offer discounts or special deals to those who donate to the fundraiser. Another idea could be to organize a virtual auction where people can bid on items donated by local businesses or community members. You could also consider doing a virtual walk or run fundraiser where participants can track their progress and collect donations from friends and family. Lastly, you could look into partnering with a local restaurant for a giveback night where a portion of the proceeds from that night's sales would go towards the fundraiser. Be sure to check with your local PTA guidelines and regulations for fundraising before implementing any of these ideas. Good luck!

What is a "No Cooking Fundraiser Show"?

A "No Cooking Fundraiser Show" is a unique way for organizations to raise money without having to host a traditional in-person cooking show. It is a virtual event where participants can shop for Pampered Chef products online, and a percentage of the sales will go towards the fundraiser.

How does a "No Cooking Fundraiser Show" work?

First, the organization will reach out to a Pampered Chef consultant to set up the fundraiser. The consultant will provide a personalized link for the organization to share with their supporters. Participants can then shop for Pampered Chef products through the link, and the organization will receive a percentage of the sales as a donation.

Do participants have to purchase cooking products in order to support the fundraiser?

No, participants can purchase any Pampered Chef products through the fundraiser link to support the organization. The fundraiser includes a wide range of products, including kitchen tools, cookware, and food items, making it easy for anyone to find something they would like to purchase.

Are there any minimum sales or requirements for the fundraiser?
