Cooking Without a Microwave or Oven: Ideas for a Cooking Show

HELP!
I am doing a cooking show somewhere that doesn't have a microwave or oven. I didn't want to do the typical meat/cheese tray, but I can't think of any recipes that I could show that don't call at least for a microwave...suggestions???

Chocolate Banana Cream Trifle just make the ganoche up ahead of time or bring a hot plate to heat up the chocolate.

If using a hot plate, try the Chicken Picatta Pasta. I've done that on a hot plate several times.

Clubhouse Chicken Squares. Just make up the crust ahead of time on your large bar pan and you have a great little dish!

Why not make it a pantry show? Pre-make microwave chips, make some dips with the spices/rubs, raspberry habenero + cream cheese, dip pre-made pound cake in the sweet sauces, make salsa in the MFP ..

fresh flowers
candles
ornaments
ribbons
M&M's or Skittles or coffee beans

Demo some of the decorator touches you can do with simple additions - candle centerpiece with ribbon on candle and ornaments in trifle / rectangle plate / cake pedestal. Show rectangle plate with several candles (see Deb Lilley photos; will try to attach), put fresh cut flowers in small square - do 2 colors in 4 squares, like a checkerboard pattern (diagonal ones are same color)
