What does everyone think about newspaper ads, how do you know if you writing within the guidelines? I had a couple ideas of what i wanted to write but havent acted on it yet. Has anyone else had luck with it?

If you use Merrill ad generator, then you know that you are okay.
 
I think they are a waste of money. Our business grows through personal contacts. I'd rather take that $50 and work a craft fair and actually MEET people.

Wow - if you can get an print ad for $50 - what a bargain! Even in our little local weekly paper, for a business card-sized ad it's way more than $50!
