I'm doing a 'Spring Carnival' at a local church school on Saturday, & I need to know from someone who has done these events if you brought any food for people to sample. TIA!

Usually you don't want to serve food because you don't have a food handlers permit. Sometimes I've had wrapped candy that I've purchased on display and to give out. But I don't even do that anymore. It just attracts kids and moochers. :D

In my experience food is not a good idea, it just creates a food frenzy and attracts moochers. If I do Candy I put it at the back of my booth. I make kids ask their parents.

Thanks! That helps a lot, not to mention the time I'll save by not baking cookies or something!
