Spice Up Your Murder Mystery Show with Unique Themes - Book Now!

Heres the twist! The person who guesses the murderer correctly gets to choose one of the other guests to be their "victim" for the rest of the show. They are then handcuffed and escorted to one of the private party rooms. The other guests are not allowed to leave the party room until the victim is unmasked. The victim then reads their "confession" which takes place during the commercial break. The victim can choose to keep their secret or choose to tell the rest of the guests. After the break, I unmask the victim and the guests who guessed correctly. I then give out the prizes. I hope this gives you a little better idea of what my show is like

Hi Everyone,
The Murder Mystery theme show is catching on to my guests, and I have 3 booked for October. Here's my problem: Two of the hosts were at one of my Murder Mystery shows already, and will have some of the same guests. How can I tweak my show to make it different?

I guess what I am really asking for is for any ideas for a different "murder"--oh, that sounds terrible :) I have been doing the Margaritaville Murder mystery show, where I have four suspects, each reading along with my script. I got the idea from a post here--THANK YOU! It's been a big hit!

Now I need a new one, though. I looked at the Who Killed Pam Perchef file, but I don't really understand how that one works. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your help and ideas!

I definately need to more about this type of show. Could you post the link? This sounds awesome and like a ton of fun. Thanks

Hi All,
I'm currently working on my own as I have 8 murder mystery shows in Oct. (I set the theme up without having the actual theme..hehe) I'm basing it off of the "who killed Pam Perchef" doc, that was posted here awhile ago...but really just using name and characters.. As my 1st show is Oct. 1st...I'll have to finish it this weekend and I'll post it when I'm done and ya'll can let me know what you think!
Have a great day..
Cheers,
Angela

I'm looking forward to your post! Thanks!

I am really excited to try this type of show. I've done bingo and poker and had great success. This will add a lot of pizzazz to the show. Thanks guys for sharing your great ideas!!!!

 Do you ask for volunteers to be the suspects? Do they suggest their own alibis? What lies have they told?

Am I just being stupid?

I ask for volunteers for the suspects, and give them an extra ticket into the drawing for helping. I encourage them to give their "Oscar performance" :)

I cut the alibi's that are in the file into four slips of paper, and just randomly hand one to each suspect. They don't know "who did it", and it's more fun. The alibi's are already written in the file, so they don't have to come up with their own story.

I hope that answers your questions!

New MurderWell, okay..it's not really new. I just tweaked the "Margaritaville" one to remove the margaritas and Jimmy Buffet references. Still, thought some of you might want to find out who killed poor Pete. (if you want different alibis, change # 3 to "I would like it better if it would peel the apples while I cut them" or in #2 change the tool to the DCG and say that he did the mozzarella but had to leave off the parmesan because he didn't have the microplane yet and so couldn't grate the cheese.

Hope this helps someone.

Have a great day,
Sandy

Thanks Sandy!
I love the recipe ideas, and the new names! It's a great tweak on the original. Thanks for sharing!

You're WelcomeIf you want to look again, I've changed Vidalia's name to "Lovey"...get it? Lovey Zastone? lol I'd rather be doing the Pepperoni Pizza Twist, but my host wanted the calzone...I think next time I'll market it as a "package" deal.

My intention is to keep the same list of characters and change the scenario as time goes by. That way, when I (hopefully) build up a steady clientelle, they can book shows to find out what happens to poor Pete this time. :D

Have a great day,
Sandy

murder mysteryHi everyone,
I'm so sorry for not posting this earlier this month. Time has flown by too quickly. Anyways, here is the murder mystery show I've been doing...I'll attach more docs in a second post.
I basically based this show after the game "CLUE". I give everyone a pamperchef guest doc for them to take notes, as well as each guest gets a postcard for their "character". I begin the show normally as I usually do but through in the fact that we are here to solve a murder and sporadic clues will be given througout the show. After my introduction, I have 2 guests read thier character...then I proceed to do some of the recipe...2 more guests reading..etc...then same with the clues, going around the room. I mark certain products with a # so I pick up that item, I know what clue I want. At the end, each guest writes on their paper who, what weapon, and why.. the closest person wins..but everyone gets a free recipe card for being good sports..
Its a very easy adaptable show, as well as please feel free to change whatever you like to fit your needs. I'm not quite sure if my post is clear, but if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me...
Thanks for your patience...
Cheers,
Angela

Who murdered Pam Perchef?Hi,
I just copied all the documents on here about who murdered PamPerchef. I am not very creative and think I understand the idea of what to do. Now I have a question for those of you that have done it - can you use any recipe or should it be one that uses the kitchen tools that have disappeared or does it have to be the Family Sized baked burrito since that is mentioned? This is only my 3rd show and I want to do a great job but am a little confused. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated. I thought it would be more scripted when I mentioned it to my host. That will teach me to read things first before I open my mouth.
