anyone have any documents on moving you business? I have 2 that are moving in the next month and want ideas to keep them going.

I don't have anything typed up, but here are a few suggestions ... Odds are they will know someone in their new location. A friend or family member ... or in the case of a military move they'll have a "sponsor" for their new duty station. Have them ask any contacts that they already have in the new area if they would be willing to host a show.If they are a mommy of little ones, have them check out meetup.com to get involved in some local play groups and meet new people. My upline (Yolanda) told me when she moved from the states to mainland Japan that she took her laptop down to the lobby to use the internet & check e-mail. She sat in the lobby with her catalog tote beside her & made some good contacts to help get started. Working the 3-2-1 plan helps, as does getting into some of the local events (booth opportunities) to meet new people.Pampering some businesses in her new area is another great idea.Referrals! Yolanda just moved from Mainland to Okinawa. I asked one of my $1,000 hosts in Oki if she's be willing to host this month to help Yolanda get her new business up & off the ground and she said yes. Then I had another past customer say she wanted to host & I referred Yolanda too. So there's 2 shows for her right off the bat before she even arrived on the island. We can advertise in the local papers now (as long as it's not the top 100), magazines, join the local Chamber of Commerce, etc. Personalized Merrill logos help too. And of course the always tried & true catalog tote/mini sling bag! LOL
