We were given one of these at our meeting, so I had a chance to use it this week, I actually used it to smash up bananas for bread. But it worked better than I would have expected. I didnt care for the angle of the handle though. It was a bit uncomfortable to use after a few moments of mashing. But it did do nice big chunks. i did it more since I was using it for bread, but I can see it being handy for eggs and potatoes.
