For those of you that send out mini catalogs to your customers at the start of the season, do you add a label to the outside or add an insert? If so, what do you write? I guess I'm in need of some assistance with some verbiage. Thanks!

I use mini-catalogs for my hosts guest lists...and I mail them out. It works great and my sales have been really great! If I were sending to past host and customers, I would put them in an envelope along with a letter inviting them to enjoy shopping for new products. You could even offer a special incentive for booking by a certain date. It's been my experience that mini-catalogs work best when sent in an envelope...goes thru the mail better and people treat it as regular mail and not just a sales flyer. Hope this helps!

Does it take just one stamp when you put them in an envelope?

Yes and you can even add an insert or a business card magnet. As long as it stays under an ounce.

Yes (as Beth said). I send my regular invitation (an 8/5 x 11 tri-fold "pamphlet") and the mini. This envelope also has an address sticker (30-to-a-page size) to the guest and an address sticker (80 to a page?) from the host. The mini has two of the 30-to-a-page size stickers with my information.

You can use your new scale to weight out what you'd like to mail.
