has anyone made their own magnetic notepads? I am thinking about trying to make my own to give to hosts... I want to have a notepad with my business card on their too... any suggestions?

I haven't made my own myself, but have been considering it as well. I know those who have though. I would go to Office Max or Staples or your local office supply store and see what they have to offer by way of magnetics. I have seen some while wandering around staples and thought, "hey I should do that."

Yes, it is possible to make your own magnetic notepads. Here are some steps to guide you:1. Gather your materials: You will need a stack of blank notepads, a sheet of magnetic paper, a business card, scissors or paper trimmer, and a glue stick.2. Design your notepad: Use a computer program or hand-drawn design to create a layout for your notepad. Include your business card design on the top or bottom of the sheet.3. Print your design: Print your design onto the magnetic paper. Make sure to follow the instructions on the packaging for the best printing results.4. Cut the notepad sheets: Use a scissors or paper trimmer to cut the notepad sheets to your desired size. Make sure they are slightly smaller than the magnetic sheet.5. Glue the sheets onto the magnetic paper: Use a glue stick to apply a thin layer of glue to the back of each notepad sheet. Carefully place the sheet onto the magnetic paper and press down firmly to ensure it sticks.6. Cut the magnetic sheet: Once the glue has dried, use scissors or a paper trimmer to cut the magnetic sheet to the same size as the notepad sheets.7. Attach the business card: Use a glue stick or double-sided tape to attach your business card to the top or bottom of the magnetic sheet.8. Cut the magnetic sheet into individual notepads: Use scissors or a paper trimmer to cut the magnetic sheet into individual notepads. Make sure to cut along the lines between each sheet of paper.Your homemade magnetic notepads are now ready to be used or gifted to hosts. You can also add a personalized touch by decorating the cover of the notepads with stickers or washi tape. Have fun and get creative with your designs!
