DH and I have talked and talked and talked and there is still more to discuss. He has been kind enough to stay home both MOnday and Tuesday mornings and just drink coffee and share and I praise God for him. I just love this man!!!!!
"Leaving for Emmaus: Prayers Appreciated!" is a community initiative or event where individuals come together to support someone who is embarking on a spiritual journey or retreat, often associated with the Walk to Emmaus program. Participants are encouraged to pray for the individual as they prepare for and experience this transformative event.
You can participate by joining the prayer chain or group that supports the individual going on the Emmaus retreat. This may involve signing up to pray for specific time slots, attending prayer meetings, or simply offering your prayers and support from wherever you are.
When praying for someone leaving for Emmaus, you might focus on asking for guidance, peace, and openness to the experience. Prayers for strength, healing, and a deeper connection with God are also common, as well as support for the individual’s loved ones during their absence.
The specific date for the "Leaving for Emmaus" event can vary depending on the local community or church hosting it. It’s best to check with the organizing body or the individual involved for the exact dates and details regarding the event.
In addition to praying, you can offer emotional support by encouraging them, helping them prepare for the retreat, or providing practical assistance such as transportation or taking care of responsibilities while they are away. A simple note of encouragement or a small gift can also show your support.
