I'm making the Strawberry Spinach salad dressing which calls for white wine vinegar. I seem to have several varieties, just not that one. Which would work okay: Red Wine Vinegar, Apple Cider Vinegar, White Vinegar, or Rice Vinegar?

I don't know for sure, but I'd say out of those Rice Vinegar...

That's what I'd say, too.

When in doubt - google it!! Here's what I found:white wine vinegar Notes: This is a moderately tangy vinegar that French cooks use to make Hollandaise and Béarnaise sauces, vinaigrettes, soups, and stews. It's also an excellent base for homemade fruit or herb vinegars. Substitutes: red wine vinegar (This has a stronger flavor, and it may discolor a light sauce.) OR champagne vinegar OR rice vinegar OR cider vinegar

Thanks, I used the Rice Vinegar. Turned out just fine. I figured I'd ask here as well as google, because I wasn't sure on this particular salad recipe if one or the other would be a better flavor. ;) I figured I couldn't go too wrong, but panicked because my guests were arriving at the same time as I was fixing it. :D

How can I make a recipe vegan-friendly?

To make a recipe vegan, you can use plant-based alternatives for dairy ingredients such as almond milk, coconut milk, or vegan butter. For meat-based recipes, you can use tofu, tempeh, or beans as substitutes. You can also use flax eggs or applesauce as substitutes for eggs in baking recipes.
