I am a new consultant. My mom, who has been a consultant for a little under a year, recruited me on her recent visit. My mom lives in Okinawa, Japan, so I don't have a local team (yet). I am a homeschooling mom and pretty involved in the local food/farm-to-table scene. I lived in Mexico years ago and came to love, and later taught myself to cook, authentic Mexican cuisine, including sauces from scratch, offal/nose-to-tail cooking, handmade tortillas, etc. I also do a lot of home canning. I am even writing a cookbook combining these interests. I hear a lot of people saying they came to Pampered Chef not knowing how to cook at all, but I haven't yet heard of anyone like me, who is coming from the other extreme so to speak, where I routinely spend several hours a day in the kitchen, and adapting to the mindset of "quick and easy" meals is something of a challenge. I'm trying to think outside of the box and find ways to make my experience useful rather than a stumbling block for me. If anyone knows of any groups I should join that might be along these lines I'd really appreciate it!

Welcome to Chef success and Pampered Chef! Wishing you great success in your business!

Welcome! I don't know of any groups, but most of the recipes offered by The Pampered Chef fall into the "quick and easy" category. So, you can't go wrong with those.

Welcome rvagourmet!
