I had a host fb me this question and I have no idea and can't find any info online anywhere...anyone know? "Can you store 2 or more types of herbs in the herb keeper at a time?"
Anyone?

I dont see why you couldnt. But if you have a large bunch like from a grocery store, there may not be enough room. But if she is clipping from her garden a little bit at a time, then I would say sure!

It depends on the size and design of the herb keeper. Some herb keepers may have multiple compartments or separators, allowing you to store different types of herbs at the same time. However, if the herb keeper is just a single container with no dividers, it would be best to store one type of herb at a time to prevent them from mixing and potentially affecting the flavor of each herb. It is always best to check the product instructions or contact the manufacturer for specific guidelines on using the herb keeper.

1. How do I use a herb keeper to store multiple herbs?

To use a herb keeper for storing multiple herbs, start by washing and drying your herbs thoroughly. Then, remove any damaged or wilted leaves and trim the stems. Place the herbs in the herb keeper, making sure they are not overcrowded. Close the lid and store it in the refrigerator.

2. How long can I store herbs in a herb keeper?

The length of time you can store herbs in a herb keeper depends on the type of herb. Soft herbs like parsley, cilantro, and basil can last up to a week, while hard herbs like rosemary and thyme can last up to two weeks. It is best to use the herbs within a few days for optimal freshness.

3. Do I need to wash the herbs before storing them in a herb keeper?

Yes, it is important to wash the herbs before storing them in a herb keeper. This will help remove any dirt or debris and ensure that your herbs stay fresh longer. After washing, make sure to dry the herbs thoroughly before placing them in the herb keeper.

4. Can I store different types of herbs together in a herb keeper?

Yes, you can store different types of herbs together in a herb keeper. However, it is best to group herbs with similar moisture needs together. For example, soft herbs like parsley and cilantro can be stored together, while hard herbs like rosemary and thyme should be stored separately.

5. Are herb keepers dishwasher safe?
