Creating a Gift Certificate Spreadsheet

In summary, to create a gift certificate spreadsheet, open a new Excel document and enter the necessary information such as the recipient's name, amount, and expiration date. You can also add a customized design or logo to make it more visually appealing. You can add multiple gift certificates in one spreadsheet by creating separate columns for each certificate. There is no specific format or template required, but it is recommended to keep the layout clean and organized. To keep track of redeemed gift certificates, add a column for the redemption date and mark it as "redeemed" or "used". Terms and conditions can also be added by including a separate column or section for it.

Ok. so I figured I would start a spreadsheet of what gift certificates I give out so I can keep a record of who has them and when they come back to me, etc. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should add to this spreadsheet.. Some of the obvious for me is their holder's name, date issued, expiry date, date used, and the amount. anything else?

Cheers:rolleyes:

Could you maybe put the phone number of the person that you gave it too? Because if it is coming up on the expiration date and they haven't used it yet, you can give them a friendly reminder call to let them know it will be expiring soon?

If you order gift certificates with PC how do you redeem them?

either through the mail or website. Not at a show

So it would be better to make GC yourself?
